Created by Weta Workshop veteran Darren A. Mosher from the basis of Mauro Santini's Bilbo Possessed Mini Epics sculpt. The addition of non-vinyl elements was something important for Darren.

"I love kitbashing things. I normally have to stick to specific briefs and tight restrictions, so this project gave me the freedom to just go for it. It was also a pleasure to collaborate with painter Joel Gearey, bouncing off each other to constantly improve towards the finished product. Adding mixed media to a collectible is always a challenge, but when it’s done right, subtly or not, it can elevate a sculpt to that next level."
