Nizaad took the opportunity to celebrate the things she holds dear, combining Pakistani culture with her love of film and a cup of masala chai to bring this breath-taking rendition Smaug into the world..

"Pakistani culture is rich in colour and texture; there’s so much I could’ve incorporated, like fabrics and patterns beyond just the mendhi and jewellery, but I'm glad with what we ended up with, considering the scale.
The scales were challenging so we ended up grinding them back to make it easier for the mendhi pattern application."
