"An Argonath miniature environment was created as a prototype, but did not see release right away. Instead, the concept was repurposed to be used as a pair of DVD book-ends for The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Collectors' Edition DVD set. Produced before the movie was released into cinemas, the prototype predated an official logo for the films, hence the use of what was a temporary logo on the rockface on the back of the sculpture."
