Deep in the ancient past, captured Elves were tortured and corrupted by evil into hideous, hunched forms. These foul, black-blooded creatures were driven to ruin and destroy all fair things. The Dark Lord, Sauron, bred great armies of Orc soldiers for his war against the good peoples of Middle-earth.

The Wounded Orc bust depicts a particularly enraged orc eager to rid himself of the arrow piercing his shoulder, straining to bite the shaft of the arrow and pull it free.

It sits on a classically turned base that includes his full name and the sculptor's signature.
