Thranduil, king of the Elves of Mirkwood that was once Greenwood the Great, Lord of the Woodland Realm and father of Legolas Greenleaf, sits upon his great throne of carved roots in his hidden palace.
Wearing a many-spined crown of rowan berries and clad in richly woven robes the cold Elvenking carries as his staff of office a tall rod of oak and amber, held together in a thorn-grip of steel fingers. The Staff of King Thranduil is a Limited Edition piece.
Made in one piece from tough and strong fibreglass with the the 'amber' headpiece made from coloured clear resin. This authentic prop replica has been created from molds of the original staff used in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. King Thranduil's staff comes with a black metal bracket for display, pride of place, on your wall.
The staff of King Thranduil is part of a range of high end authentic prop replicas from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It was designed by Alan Lee and made by the prop makers of the 3Foot7 Art Department.
