Miss Piggy left home as a teenager, having graduated from
charm school where she became the perfect lady she knew she was
meant to be. Continuing to pursue her life-long ambition of
becoming an actress, model and diva, Miss Piggy moved to London
and worked in the chorus of "The Muppet Show." Before long, she
made her presence known and was soon the lead chanteuse and
femme fatale on the show. Today she continues her obsession with
the two most important things in her life: her frog Kermit and
her career.
Miss Piggy was the character to change the most through the sculpting process, bumping her release from the original set of four to much later. Piggy's first prototype (red dress) referenced a newer depiction of the character, but the sculpt continued to be tweaked and refined until she was released, her final version wearing an outfit and bearing a likeness that Weta's team felt was more iconic.
