Son and heir of King Elendil, Isildur was a proud and mighty soldier in the Second Age. He accompanied his father during their assault upon the fortress of the Dark Lord, Sauron. Isildur's actions in that most fateful confrontation would drive the course of history for centuries to come.

Each bust sits on a classically turned base that includes the name of the character and the sculptor's signature.

"The original concept for the Prince Isildur bust had him looking down at the Ring in the palm of his hand. it was decided to lose the hand as it looked somewhat odd, chopped off at the wrist as it was, but this left the bust looking down awkwardly and seemingly without good reason, so shortly before it was finished and cast, the sculpture was reposed with the chin raised"
